The opportunity 03

Your clients are
already asking.
Will you have the answer?

Stretch marks affect people across pregnancy, growth, weight change and muscle gain. Yet many clients hear the same tired answer: “There’s nothing you can do.”

They’ve tried oils. They’ve tried creams. They’re still searching for a practitioner who understands the tissue, sets honest expectations and works with precision.

Real results, read correctly 05

Improvement you can
see. Language you can trust.

Revision is not erasure. The goal is visible refinement in texture, depth, tone and how the marks catch light—measured over a treatment journey, not sold as an overnight miracle.

01

Texture Support a smoother, more uniform surface appearance.

02

Depth Track the appearance of depressed, mature striae over time.

03

Tone Plan around the mark’s stage and skin type—not a generic setting.

04

Confidence Document the client’s experience, not only the photograph.

Individual outcomes vary. No technique can completely remove stretch marks. Images should represent genuine treatment progress photographed under consistent conditions.

Inside the intensive 06

02

Plan for Body-Art Compliance

Body-art rules apply in many U.S. jurisdictions. Practitioner registration, a permit, bloodborne-pathogens training or an approved facility may be required. Always confirm the city, county and state rules where you will practice.

Facts, not filler 09

The truth makes
the offer stronger.

We teach the nuance clients rarely hear—and practitioners need to know. Credibility creates more trust than exaggerated promises.

Evidence before exaggeration. The TRI/FORM™ approach is built around informed assessment, responsible expectations and credible documentation.
Fact 01

Stretch marks are a form of dermal scarring.

Rapid stretching or shrinking can disrupt the collagen and elastin that support the skin. As the skin heals, stretch marks may appear.

American Academy of Dermatology
Fact 02

No treatment erases every stretch mark.

Professional procedures may make stretch marks less noticeable. Response depends on the individual, the age and type of the marks, skin characteristics and the treatment used.

American Academy of Dermatology
Fact 03

Microneedling has supportive—but evolving—evidence.

A 2024 systematic review found initial evidence supporting the efficacy and safety of microneedling for stretch marks. Outcomes still vary, reinforcing the need for appropriate case selection and skilled treatment planning.

2024 systematic review
Fact 04

Earlier and mature stretch marks are different cases.

Red, purple or darker early marks—striae rubrae—and pale, mature marks—striae albae—differ clinically. Assessment and treatment planning should reflect those differences.

Clinical review

This course provides professional education, not medical advice. Practitioners must work within their qualifications, insurance coverage and applicable licensing or body-art regulations.

Where is the training held?

The three-day intensive is held in San Diego, California. Exact venue details and daily training times will be provided to confirmed students before the course.

Which training dates are available?

The October 1–3 cohort is sold out. The November 12–14 cohort is currently open for enrollment, subject to remaining availability.

How much does the course cost?

Standard tuition is $3,999. Early-bird tuition is $3,299 when paid in full within the advertised early-bird period—a saving of $700.

Is the training beginner-friendly, or do I need to be a PMU artist?

The training is beginner-friendly, and you do not need to already be a PMU artist. We begin with the essential fundamentals, including equipment orientation, machine handling, cartridge selection, skin assessment, sanitation, treatment planning and safe technique. You will learn the reasoning behind the protocol before progressing into hands-on application. No previous stretch-mark revision experience is required, but every student must follow the licensing, registration, insurance and health department requirements that apply where they intend to work.

Is this camouflage, or is it an inkless treatment?

The TRI/FORM™ method combines principles from both inkless revision and stretch-mark camouflage. It is not a single one-size-fits-all procedure. The approach is selected and adjusted individually according to the client’s skin type, stretch-mark stage, texture, tone, treatment history and desired outcome. You will learn how to assess each case and determine whether an inkless approach, camouflage approach or carefully planned combination is appropriate.

Is certification included?

Yes. Students who complete the required training components will receive a TRI/FORM™ course certificate of completion. The certificate confirms completion of this professional training program; it does not replace a government-issued license, practitioner registration, health permit, insurance requirement or any other authorization required in your jurisdiction.

Can I begin working immediately after certification?

We will teach you how to prepare your service, structure your consultation, price treatment packages and begin booking clients as soon as possible. You may begin offering the service once you have completed the training and obtained every license, registration, bloodborne-pathogens certificate, insurance policy, facility approval or health department authorization required in your area. We will help you understand the compliance steps and where to find the correct information, but approval ultimately comes from your local regulatory authorities.

Do I need a PMU or tattoo device?

Yes. You will need access to a professional PMU or tattoo device suitable for the protocol. Detailed device, cartridge and setup instructions will be provided before training so you know what to bring or purchase.

Do I need a body-art permit?

Potentially. Many states and local authorities regulate services performed with PMU or tattoo devices. Requirements may include practitioner registration, bloodborne-pathogens training, insurance and an approved facility. Verify the city, county and state requirements that apply where you intend to work.

Review San Diego County requirements ↗

What can I charge for the service?

The suggested starting structure is a minimum three-session package priced from $1,200. Your final price should reflect your market, experience, treatment time, supplies and operating costs. Training does not guarantee bookings or income.

Will this completely remove stretch marks?

No responsible training should promise complete removal. The objective is visible revision—improving the appearance of texture, depth and overall contrast. Results vary according to the client, skin, marks, treatment plan and healing response.

What happens after I enroll?

You will receive payment confirmation, preparation guidance, an equipment checklist and the San Diego training details. You should begin reviewing your local licensing, insurance and body-art requirements as early as possible.
