DETAILS

Procreate Pencil Brush Settings for Nano Brows Practice

These settings are designed to mimic the precise, controlled feel of real hairstrokes used in Nano Brows. They offer a balance of fluidity, pressure sensitivity, and tapering for ultra-fine detail and muscle memory training.

Stroke Path

Spacing: None

Jitter: None

Fall Off: 35%

What this does:

A smooth, continuous stroke with no random scatter (jitter). The slight fall-off at 35% helps gently fade the tail of the stroke for a natural taper at the end — just like a real hair stroke.

Stabilization

StreamLine Amount: 10%

StreamLine Pressure: 75%

Stabilization: None

Motion Filtering Amount: 11%

Motion Filtering Expression: None

Why this matters:

StreamLine adds subtle smoothing without losing control, while Pressure at 75% enhances precision when varying pressure during stroke execution. This helps simulate hand control used in PMU. Motion filtering reduces hand shakiness without overcorrecting your motion.

Taper

Pressure Taper Tip: 71%

Touch Taper Tip: Sharp

Size (for both): Max

Opacity & Pressure: None (keeps flow consistent)

Tip Animation: ON

Classic Taper: OFF

Effect:

The taper settings ensure your strokes fade beautifully at the tip, which mimics a real machine-drawn stroke. Sharp taper under touch settings helps achieve that perfect nano finish with pointed ends.
